Weekend Roundup

Between clothing launches, Super Bowl parties, and anticipation for NYC Fashion Week, this weekend was busy busy busy! Here is a little recap of all the recent happenings...

1. Jason Wu Target Madness

Yes, I was one of the crazy fashionistas to stand in line and wait for the Jason Wu for Target Collection to launch on Sunday morning at 8:00 AM. Thanks to careful planning & the quick maneuvers of my "partner in crime" (my Mom), I was able to score some amazing pieces from the collection. It was sheer madness at the Target in Thousand Oaks, and I nearly got knocked to the ground more than once, but the clothes were worth it!

A detailed blog post on my "Jason Wu Adventure" will be coming shortly! In the meantime, check out my photos and the links to see more about the recent clothing launch.

3. Obsession of the Day

Cambridge Satchel Company--Messenger Bags

Thanks to a tip by my good friend Doah, I stumbled upon these cute, yet functional messenger bags that are becoming all the rage in the US and across the pond. This UK based company was formed in 2008 and has been gaining popularity ever since. Known for their iconic leather messenger bags, the Cambridge Satchel Company has been spotted on the arms of celebrities and fashion editors including Zooey Deschanel and Brad Goreski.

The bags come in both medium and large sizes and include an adjustable shoulder strap. There are a variety of colors including the standard black, red, brown and even neon pink and silver metallic. They will even personally emboss the bag with your initials if you like!

Although based in London, you can purchase their products through the Cambridge Satchel Co. website (see link below), or online at Bloomingdales, Urban Outfitters and ModCloth. The prices range from $150-250 depending on the style and color.
