Be Prepared!

Just weeks after Missoni Madness took over the fashion world, Target just announced it's newest designer collaboration....Jason Wu.

Although relatively new to the fashion scene, Jason Wu made waves in January 2009 when Michelle Obama chose one of is designs for her husband's Inaugural Ball. This one-shoulder, white chiffon gown was custom made for the First Lady and currently resides at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in the First Ladies Collection.

Along with the First Lady, Jason Wu has garnered other celebrity followers over the years including Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore. And who could forget the gorgeous mustard color dress that Diane Kruger wore to the 2010 SAG Awards?!

It's hard to tell what types of designs Jason Wu will present at Target. He is more well known for his upscale, dressy attire than the casual, comfy sportswear that Target is famous for. Rumors are that his collaboration will include women's clothing and accessories such as scarfs and handbags--and on a much smaller scale than Missoni (who presented over 400 pieces including housewares, children's clothing and even a bicycle!)

Even though the Jason Wu collection may not be as expansive as the uber-successful Missoni partnership, I cannot wait to see what this fabulous designer has in store!  And if his Spring 2012 Collection is any indication of what his collaboration will be like, I am positive that this collection will be another "shopping extravaganza" for fashionistas everywhere. I'll be seeing you at Target on February 5, 2012 when the Jason Wu for Target collection officially hits stores!

Wait, I Only Get One Carryon?

Rachel Zoe is a girl after my own heart. I'm relieved to know that she has the same issue as me: "What am I going to leave at home?"

Arriving in Paris for Fashion Week on September 26, the stylist turned fashion designer brought 13 bags with her. What? Too much? Naaaawwww
